Flip access and network settings

Schools and organizations may have strict third-party app access, network, and firewall settings. These settings can lead to issues when you try to use Flip. If you or your students in your organization have trouble when they try to join Flip, post or play a video, or receive emails, it’s most likely because of a setting restriction.

Important: You may need to contact your school or organization's IT department to change some of these settings.

Get access to use Flip

If you or your students in your organization have trouble when they try to join Flip, it’s most likely because your organization has not allowed access to Flip. You must contact your IT department to allow Microsoft email addresses to be used to access third-party apps.

To get access to Flip, share the following link with your IT department: https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/adminconsent?client_id=f1143447-b07a-4557-b878-b78df8d45c13

Note: If your IT department requests more information on how they can access third-party apps, such as Flip, share the following link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cloud-app-security/manage-app-permissions
