Import or upload a video

You’re able to import or upload videos into Flip that you have created outside of Flip. This can be helpful if you want to use a video camera elsewhere, use video editing software, or combine multiple video clips into one video.

Note: You aren't able to post a video longer than the topic’s recording time limit. If you save a video to your profile, the time limit is 90 seconds.

How to import or upload a custom video clip

When you add a video clip, it creates a Flip video. You’re able to add multiple video clips at once and even record additional footage in Flip after you upload your videos clips.

Note: You can only add music from the Flip library to uploaded clips on the Flip app. You aren’t able to do this with Flip for web.
