You're able to create a response with your camera off, or your camera image hidden or blurred. You can still use all the regular Flip camera effects to create your response.
- Mic only mode
: You can find this in the camera options. When you turn this on, a microphone icon replaces the camera image. The circle pulses when the microphone picks up sound. You’re finished video shows the image and the pulses.
- Board effect
: When you add the board effect to your response, you’re able to choose how much of the screen the board takes up. If you adjust the board so the screen is completely full, the video your computer camera records is hidden by the board. You can use this with Mic only mode on or off.
- Camera filters
: The "Brick" or "Pixelated" filters create an effect that removes and blurs most detail from your video image. To use these filters, your camera must be on.
Note: If you want to create a video with a different app that isn't the Flip camera, you're able to import a video into Flip.
