You can download your own videos on desktop from your “My Videos” tab. Students are able to download all your videos at once from your "Edit profile" box.
Note: If you're a student of the group, you can't download videos that were created by other students.
How to download from My Videos
Important: You can only download a video from “My Videos” if you’re on a computer.
- Go to https://flip.com and log in.
- In the top left, click My videos .
- Scroll to the video you want to download.
- In the top right of the video's cover image, click More > Download video.
How to download all your videos at once
Educators and Students can request a link to download all their videos and other data at once on Flip on web. The link is sent to the email you use to sign in to Flip.
Note: This is not available for students who sign in to Flip with a username. You can reach out to your educator for help downloading the video.
- Go to https://flip.com and log in.
- In the top left, click My videos
- Click the large Profile photo bubble.
- In the "Edit profile" window, at the top right, click More > Download all data.
- Click Request download.
- Check the email you use to sign in to Flip for the download link. The email may take some time and will get sent out as soon as the file is ready for download.
Important: If you do not receive an email
- After waiting for a day, you may need to simply retry the 'Request download' step.
- If you still do not receive the email you may need to work with your IT Admin to allow Flip emails. You can share the allow list here Flip access and network settings.
From your account, you can:

Students who use Flip with a username
If you forget to download during video creation and used a username instead of an email to join the discussion, contact your educator for help downloading the video.
Other Downloads:
Educators can download topic media videos using the "Download Topic Video" link below your video topic media. For topic video responses, educators can download multiple student videos at once. Learn how to download multiple student videos.

Export Group summary
To get Topic titles, last response date, response and view count.
- Go to https://flip.com and log in.
- At the left, in your groups home, select the group you want the data of.
- At the bottom right of the group's cover image, you can either:
- Click for more > .
- This will download a file 'topics.csv'
Export Topic summary
To get Group name, Topic title, who responded, response date, view and like count etc.

Go to https://flip.com and log in.

- From the left menu, in your groups home, select the group that has the topic you want to edit.
- Select the topic you want to edit.
- At the top right of the topic, click options >.

- This will download a file 'responses.csv'
