You can block and unblock students from a group. When you block a student, the individual can no longer join the group nor view and respond to topics. Moreover, the student's videos will be automatically hidden.
Tip: If you want, you can also permanently delete the student's videos. Learn how to review students' videos.
How to block a student
When you block a student, they no longer show up in your group's student list.
- Go to info.flip.com and log in.
- At the left, in your groups home, select the group with the student you want to block.
- Under the group's cover image, click Students
.
- Next to the student you want to block, click More
>Block
.
- In the block student message box, click Block.
Mobile Application
- Open the Flip app.
- Select the group with the student you want to block.
- Under the group's title and information, tap Students
- Next to the student you want to block, tap More
Note: When blocked students try to join, they receive a message that they were blocked.
How to unblock a student
After you unblock a student, they're able to join the group again. Their videos remain hidden until you make them active again. Learn how to activate videos.
- Go to info.flip.com and log in.
- At the left, in your groups home, select the group with the student you want to unblock.
- Under the group's cover image, click Students
- Next to the student you want to unblock, click Unblock.

- Open the Flip app.
- Select the group with the student you want to unblock.
- At the top right, tap More
.
- Under "Privacy," tap Blocked students.
- Next to the student you want to unblock, tap Unblock.
