As an educator, you can invite students to your groups. This lets them post videos, audios, and comments to your topics. You can also post your own videos to encourage your students to participate.

Step 1:  Sign up

  1. Go to and log in.
  2. At the top right, click Signup.
  3. Enter your date of birth, and country or region. Enter this information accurately as it helps us confirm you're an adult. We won't save this information.
  4. Choose Sign Up with Microsoft, Sign Up with Google, or Sign Up with Apple.
  5. Choose an email.
  6. Click Create account.


Step 2: Create a group or topic

  1. Go to and log in.
  2. To create a group:
    1. At the left, click +Group > Group__empty_.png Create a group. 
    2. To continue, select a group type. For example, "Elementary."
      • Important: You can't edit your group's type after you created it. If you select "University or College," your students will be able to create topics by default. You can always change this topic setting.
    3. Update your group's details.
    4. Below "Create group" enter group name. 
    5. Select your group's cover image from the image library or to upload your own, at the top left of the images, click Upload an image Image_upload.png.
    6. At the bottom right, click Create.
  3. To create a topic: 
    1. Next to Topics.png Topic Copilot, click  Add__Plus_in_square_.png Add topic.
    2. Include a title and description.
    3. Click Create topic.

Important: If your students don't have emails, you can create usernames for them. Learn more about how to add students by username.

Step 3: Invite students

Students can join your group with a join code, link, username, or guest password.

  1. Go to and log in.
  2. At the left, in your groups home, select a group.  
  3. At the bottom right of the group's cover image, click Share Share.png.
  4. You can:
    • Share the link with students: Next to "Invite link," click Copy 
    • Share the join code: Under "Invite by link," copy the code after "" 
    • Share the QR code: At the top, click the QR icon QR_code.png > Download.  
  5. To change to "Anyone with the link can join" or "Only people you approve can join," you can toggle between the two options.
