Set up email notifications for your group

You’re able to set whether members in your group get email notifications when videos are added to a topic or you create a new topic. You’re also able to select how often you receive email notifications. Learn more about the different types and ways to get notifications.

Note: The email notification setting is different from the push notifications settings. Learn more about push notifications.

How to turn member email notifications on or off

At any time you’re able to turn on or off the ability for your group's members to get email notifications. To get email notifications, members must individually sign up for them.

Note: You can only change this setting on Flip on web.

  1. Go to admin.flip.com.
  2. At the top right of the cover image for the group you want to edit, click More More.png > Edit group Edit_pencil.png.
    • You can also select the group. Then at the top right of the group page, click More More.png > Edit group Edit_pencil.png.
  3. At the top right, click Settings Settings.png.
  4. Under "Notifications," turn Allow notifications for members on or off.
  5. At the bottom right, click Save changes.

How to set the frequency for your email notifications

  1. Go to admin.flip.com.
  2. At the top right of the cover image for the group you want to edit, click More More.png > Edit group Edit_pencil.png.
  3. You can also select the group. Then at the top right of the group page, click More More.png > Edit group Edit_pencil.png.
  4. At the top right, click Settings Settings.png.
  5. Under “Notifications,” next to “Set my notification frequency,” click the down arrow. Then, select how often you want to receive notifications:
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    • Every new video and comment
    • Never
  6. At the bottom right, click Save changes.
