Activate or hide videos and comments

When students send videos or comments in response to your topics, you can activate, hide, or delete them. On web, you can select multiple or all video responses to take these actions with one click.

• If you have topic moderation on: Videos and comments are automatically posted as "Hidden."
• If you have topic moderation off: Videos and comments are automatically posted to the topic. On web,, you're able to select multiple or all video responses at once to hide them.

Activate, hide, or delete videos from the topic

You can activate, hide, or delete multiple video responses from your topic with one click. The option to select multiple video responses is only available on web.

Note: To know if a video is “Hidden,” go to the top left of a video’s cover image. You’ll find a label that shows “Hidden” or “Active.”

1. Go to https://flip.com and log in. 
2. At the left, in your “Groups home,” select a group > the topic with videos you want to activate, hide, or delete. 
3. Under "Response:"
   • To individually select: Check the box next to the video responses or responses you want to activate, hide, or delete.
   • To select them all: At the top, check the box next to “Actions.”
   • To deselect them all: Check the box again. 
4. At the top, next to “Actions,” click the Down arrow.  
   • To activate the responses you selected: Click Activate responses > Activate. 
   • To hide the responses you selected: Click Hide responses > Hide. 
   • To delete the responses you selected: Click Delete responses > Delete. 

Activate or hide comments from a video

You can activate or hide comments in a specific video.

1. Go to https://flip.com and log in. 
2. At the left, in your groups home, select the group > the topic.
3. Select the video you want to comment on.
4. At the bottom right of the video player, click Comments .
5. Activate or hide the comment or reply.
   • To activate: Next to the comment, click More  > Set as public.  
   • To hide: Next to the comment, click > Set as private.
