We're excited to welcome you to Flip. Whether you're joining a community or leading a community, we're here to help. To help understand the features on Flip features, explore the different roles you can have on Flip.
An educator leads the community. This individual creates and manages groups and topics, including setting access and permissions for videos and comments submitted by students and guests.
A co-lead helps lead the community. The co-lead can add students, create and manage topics, and provide student feedback. Co-leads don't have the ability to invite other co-leads to the group or delete any user-generated content.
Anyone with a Flip account can join a group.
A student is invited to participate in the group topics through a join code, unique link, or QR code. Anyone can join link provided by an educator. For example, a student invited by their school teacher. Students can create and manage their own videos and comments. If a student has the ability to create groups, they can be added as a co-lead to a group by the group's educator.
A guest is invited to participate in a topic through a join code and guest password provided by an educator. Guests can create and manage their own videos and comments within a topic.
