Search and sort across your groups, topics, or videos

Flip lets you search or sort videos across groups and topics.

On mobile: You can use Search to find any video, group or topic.
On web: You can use Search to find videos within your topics and students within your groups. You can also use Sort to filter videos within your groups and topics.

Important: Search doesn’t show results for hidden groups, topics, or videos.

Search on web is available to find videos within your topics and students within your groups.

Go to https://flip.com and log in.
In your Group home, on the left, select a group.
You can:
- Under the "Topics" tab: Select the topic where you want to search for videos. On the bottom right, point to the Search bar .
- Under the "Students" tab: On the right, point to the Search bar .
To get a search result, enter at least three letters.

Search on mobile is available to find groups, topics, or videos across your Flip account.

Open the Flip app.
At the top right, tap Search .
To get a search result, enter at least three letters.
You can:
- Select a video, topic, or group: From the list of results that immediately show up.
- Filter your results: On the bottom right, tap Search . This will let you show Videos , Topics , or Groups only. To view all results, tap All .

On web, you can quickly sort your content within groups and topics to show results based on multiple options.

When you sort within groups: You can show results based on "Recent activity, Date, and Title."
When you sort within topics: You can show results based on "Date, Display name, First name, Last name, Views, and Comments."

Go to https://flip.com and log in.
You can:
- Sort within groups: In your Group home, on the left, select a group. On the bottom right, next to "Topic Copilot," click Sort > Recent activity, Date, or Title.
- Sort within topics: In your Group home, on the left, select a group. Under the "Topics" tab, select a topic where you want to sort results. On the bottom right, click Sort > Date, Display name, First name, Last name, Views, and Comments.
Once you click, the results will immediately sort.
